The 1789 escape
Re-enactment show
During the summer of 1789, a prisoner interned by lettre de cachet attempts to escape from the keep, but luckily, helped by the spectators, the guard is alerted as to what is going on.
From Sunday, 12 July to Thursday, 27 August (except Saturday and Friday)
At 11:30, 14:30, 16:00 and 17:00.
Abseil down the Tower
Just like Philippe Rivoire, descend the east wall of the Tower, supervised by a state-qualified instructor.
On Saturdays from 14:00 to 17:00. 11 July to Saturday, 29 August.
Introductory guided tour
At the foot of the monument, to find out everything about the Tower’s history and architecture.
